This section covers upgrading between SuiteCRM 8.x versions. The upgrade process uses the bin/console command-line tool and applies the target version package to your existing installation.
Migrating from SuiteCRM 7? Moving from SuiteCRM 7 to SuiteCRM 8 is a migration, not an upgrade, and requires different steps. See Migrating from SuiteCRM 7.
Review the Before You Upgrade page before doing anything else. It covers backups, compatibility checks, APP_ENV requirements, and file permissions.
